Henry Miller once said ‘you must write a million words before you find your voice.’ After attempting to write two different books, I’ve decided to believe there’s some truth behind this statement.
I recently had the ironic pleasure of revisiting my old novels, only to find they’re quite awful. Which just means I need more practice.
In a time when magic seems to seep from the world, it’s through art that we can force it back into our lives.
I choose to write because I have faith in the ability of words to move the emotions of people. People who have become distracted by an overstimulating amount of information.
